Today I challenge myself to 90 days of diet and exercise. I aim for 1600 calories a day (1400-1800 calorie range). I will complete Jillian Michaels' 20 Minute Shred video everyday for the next 15 days.
I have all sorts of notions about how much I'd like to lose -- in pounds and inches -- but I'm going to work hard to focus on my ultimate goal.
Confidence.
At the end of these 90 days, more important than how many pounds I've lost or what size I may wear is how I will feel when I catch a glimpse of my reflection or see my image in a photograph. Will I cringe? Will I smile? I really hope that I'll feel proud of myself for sticking with this. I hope that I'll feel stronger and healthier. I hope that I'll feel pretty. I hope I'll be less critical and judgmental of myself. I aim for confidence.
